Aloe Vera magic benefits

Aloe vera is one of the most amazing “first aid” the nature has ever created. This succulent plant has been used for medicine and cosmetics over many centuries and has the long list of amazing properties. No surprise that I have quite a few products with Aloe Vera in my bathroom. The benefits of aloe vera are numerous and include soothing, anti-inflammatory and healing properties. So how aloe vera benefits can be used in everyday life?

Oral care

Because of its great soothing, anti-bacterial and antimicrobial properties Aloe vera is widely used in natural toothpaste and mouthwash. I always buy oral care products with Aloe vera extracts. My def favourites are AloeDent whitening toothpaste and Dr Organic Aloe Vera mouthwash. They work really well together leaving my mouth very clean and fresh. My teeth have stopped being sensitive to cold food and I don’t get bleeding gums. These products are my must haves and I would recommend it to everyone. And they are natural products without too many nasty ingredients!

Aloe vera’s soothing and healing effects are what make it so good to use for stretch marks, dry skin, sun burns and skin irritations. There are really lots of great skin care products on offer which are based on Aloe vera plant extracts. I am an addict to Aloe Pura Aloe Vera gel with Tea tree. It helps me so much with my acne problem. It soothes the skin so nicely without drying it out. I just apply it liberally on my face, chest and upper back before bed time and the next morning I can see that it reduces the inflammation of break outs and they become less visible. I also like Dr Organic Aloe vera wipes, I use it after work-outs and during hot weather and it gives really nice and fresh feeling to my skin. In addition I recently bought Green People Aloe shower gel by but I need to use it a bit longer to make up my mind about it.

Nutritional supplements

Aloe vera is believed to have a positive effect on our digestive system. I find this statement to be true for myself. Whenever I start getting periods of uncomfortable feeling in my tummy I take aloe vera juice. Basically there are two main forms of aloe vera supplement: concentrated juice and capsules with juice powder. I personally prefer juice, but capsules work perfectly fine as well.

And the last amazing product with this plant is aloe vera drink which you can get from most of the health stores. It is sooo delicious with some bits of aloe flesh…so nice…and I have heard some people make amazing desserts from aloe vera, but this is still something new for  me to try!
