Lani Hair & Body Oil Review

If you love Instagram and follow green beauty community closely, you might have seen raving reviews of Lani Tropical Hair Treatment. So I convinced myself that I need one in my life too as I have quite frizzy and generally unruly hair…that was an official excuse, the real reason for my purchase was the strong desire to own one of that super cute glass bottles! Yep, I know, I love pretty packaging. To spread the shipping cost I bought both Lani Hair Treatment (£10.99) and Lani Tropical Body Treatment (£12.99).

As mentioned above these products come in very pretty glass bottles, that look so nice! The only problem is that you cannot see how much product is left, but I don’t think it’s such a big deal. Both products are clear oils, the hair treatment has very pleasant coconut scent and the body oil has light scent of tropical flowers! These oils are 100% natural and 100% vegan too.

Hair Treatment Ingredients: Camellia Oleifera (Camellia) seed oil,Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) oil, Aleurites moluccana (Kukui) nut oil, Macadamia Integrifolia (Macadamia) nut oil

Body Treatment Ingredients: Prunus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) oil, Camellia Oleifera (Camellia) oil, Andansonia Digitata (Baobab) oil, Moringa Oleifera (Moringa) seed oil, Cananga Odorata (Ylang Ylang) oil

What I love the most about these oils is that they are very light and really easy to spread on skin or hair. I apply hair oil for at least an hour and then wash my hair as usual. It removes very easily with one shampoo application and makes lots of difference to my frizzy and fluffy hair. It helps to define my curls too. I get the best results if I use it not every time before the wash, but roughly once in 2-3 washes. I’ve been using this oil for around a month now and can say that the condition of my hair has improved a lot and my ends are less sensitised. I can definitely postpone a haircut. It’s only 100ml bottle, but I personally don’t need as much of these oil on my long hair as with other oils so a small amount goes quite far. I really enjoy this product considering the fact that I don’t usually like to apply oils on my hair. But this one is different, it is just so light and does not make me feel awkward covering my hair in it.

Body oil is a very pleasant product as well. It’s not greasy and absorbs really fast making skin soft and dewy, and I really like the scent, could use it instead of a perfume. A small amount of this oil is enough to cover the legs and arms, so really economical product.

Both products are available at Lani website and they ship worldwide for only £3.99. I am now eyeing their new Tropical Super Serum, watermelon seed and marula oils look very appealing, so maybe I will get to try this one as well very soon!
