Going all Moogoo

Moogoo skin care

Moogoo review. In this post I would like to talk about very exciting Australian skin care brand – Moogoo. Maybe not everyone here in the UK has heard about them but their products definitely worth a proper review. Maybe the whole cow theme is not right from every vegan’s street, but the brand has some very impressive natural products on offer.

First of all, I need to mention their packaging…Even their postage boxes are super cool with the cutest cow ever and have you seen their product packaging like american-style milk packets? That’s what I call eye-catching.

Now back to the products. My absolute favourite is Moogoo Strawberry Tinted Lip Balm. This is the best ever lip balm I have so far come across. It smells good, it tastes good (as it says edible on the package I had to try it and prove a point to my friend…I know, not the brightest idea, but it’s for sure the best tasting beauty product I have accidentally tried). The balm’s moisturising properties are just out of this world! This balm is exactly what it says – BALM, not something dry crumbling into pieces or just a greasy yucky kind of substance. It’s simply the right kind of texture and goes perfectly on the lips. Since I have started to use this product I never had dry lips even during cold winter months. I use this lip balm every time before going to bed and sometimes during the day when I need to. As it is tinted “red” kind of lip balm it might look a bit strange for the first time, but it adds really natural deep reddish colour to the lips. And it smells very nice too! This product is now such an important part of my skin care routine that I need to keep spare one all the time just in case.

Moogoo Strawberry lip balm and post waxing cream

My next favourite product from the range is Moogoo Post Waxing Cream. My another sad life story is constantly ingrown hair on my legs after using epilator. No matter how well I exfoliate skin before hand it always happens to me and I get horrible skin irritation, spots, break outs, scars you name it. One day while shopping around on Moogoo web site I spotted this cream and decided that I need to try it. To say that I haven’t been disappointed is to say nothing. I have tried many post waxing products but nothing really helped me apart from this cream. Now I get so much less irritation and ingrown hair. I also noticed that it takes much longer for my hair to grow back. Plus I have tried to use it on my face when it goes all sensitive and irritated with my eating habits and this cream actually calms the skin down really well though it is too heavy for my combination skin type. I wish Moogoo would make some kind of calming face fluid based on this cream!

My last top pick is Moogoo cleansing oil for combination skin. It is simply great! As I have acne, for me finding the right cleanser is very big struggle. However this cleansing oil works perfectly for me. It is much lighter compare to other cleansing oils and balms I have used before and it does not leave any greasy residue afterwards. Please read here how I use it and my other preferences for oils. This oil is so deep cleansing, after using it my face feels just like after a proper facial and it leaves skin feeling very soft and radiant. I use it around 3-4 times per week in the evening because to be honest I am just too lazy to use it every night. But still it helps to keep my break outs, whiteheads and blackheads in more control. Also, Moogoo cleansing oil easily removes even heavy make-up.
I would also recommend Moogoo soaps. They are really-really nice, all of them.

The only product that did not work for me is Moogoo Blemish Cleansing Moisturiser. But I read on Moogoo Facebook page that they are working on new anti-blemish formulation so hopefully it will come out very soon and I would try it for sure. Also on my shopping list I have Moogoo Brightening Cream and Tingling Honey Lip Balm. I will write my thoughts about these products later on.
