Pai Anywhere Essentials Review

pai skin care anywhere essentialsThere has been a whole wave of raving recently in the green beauty community when Pai Skin care introduced their Anywhere EssentialsTravel Sets. There are 4 sets types of sets available at £20 each, all collections contain muslim cloth and Pai Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Toner (25ml), plus each set contains different moisturiser (10ml) and different toner (12ml) depending on the skin concern. I picked up Instant Calm Collection designed for sensitive skin as it comes with Chamomile & Rosehip Calming Day Cream and I like this one the most from the previous Pai samples I’ve tried.

pai anywhere essentials instant calm reviewI actually don’t like cream moisturisers in general and I think this cream is the only one I can actually live with. This 10ml bottle will really last me a while as I use it only occasionally when my skin calls for extra nourishment and gels & serums are not enough. This cream is really light, non greasy and does not make my face break out. As you can guess from its name it has a nice gentle smell of Rosehip and Chamomile, and thanks to these ingredients it’s so calming and soothing. That’s actually the best thing about Pai skin care, they use very few pure ingredients, that have proven benefits for skin without overloading the products with the unnecessary stuff.

The next product in the set is Lotus & Orange Blossom BioAffinity Skin Tonic. Ok, I have a bit of soft spot for mist toners and I really really love this product. It has such an amazing and uplifting scent, it actually reminds me of my visit to the tea ceremony in China sipping on very aromatic lotus tea…the only difference that you have this lovely scent on your face, not just coming from the tea cup! And it’s also balancing, calming and helps my skin to absorb the next dose of skin care really well. Basically it does everything you expect from good toner, plus it smells divine and does not irritate skin. In general, very pleasant product and I am planning to repurchase it.

Now to the last product and my least favourite  – Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser. I really don’t think that this could be universal product for all skin types. Don’t get me wrong, it has nice texture and nice scent, but it just doesn’t do anything for me. It absorbs too fast and does not clean well enough for a hot cloth cleanser. It’s definitely a product for dry or normal skin only.

Despite of one disappointing product, I still enjoyed my collection enormously, it comes in very pretty packaging and handy little makeup bag. You get really good amount of each product to give it a good decent try or take it away with you for holidays, it would definitely last for couple of weeks. Overall, I would recommend to buy these sets for anyone still working their way into green beauty.
