Super Easy Raw Bliss Balls


Raw Bliss BallsHappy Monday Everyone!

I am struggling to keep up with my blog at the moment. This winter seems to be really busy for me, which is a good thing of course. I just want to share quickly very easy recipe for my raw bliss balls that I’ve made another day, they are so tasty and very nutritious. I am a great fan of nut bars for breakfast, but I’ve decided to follow the trend and make some nutty-chocolaty bliss balls for a change!

You will need (for 16 balls):

100g walnuts
100g peeled almonds
10 dry dates
2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
2 tbsp natural sweetener (honey, maple syrup, stevia etc)
2 tbsp almond butter
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp raw cocoa powder
1.5 tbsp chia seeds

Remove pits from dates, blend all nuts and dates till the mixture resembles a paste. Place it into the large bowl and mix in chia seeds, then add all liquid ingredients and mix well. Sift in cocoa powder. Than roll small balls (if you with, roll bliss balls in some coconut flakes), refrigerate for a couple of hours and they are ready! Simple as that. As I’ve mentioned before I like to eat mine for breakfast or they are great for a healthy afternoon snack. But I wouldn’t really advise to have more than 3 in one day, as they are so rich and nutritious. Most of the things are good for you in moderate amounts only.
